Walkthrough

How it works

  1. 1

    Enter any URL

We pull title, meta description, canonical, robots, viewport, OG, Twitter, JSON-LD, and hreflang in one pass.

  2. 2

    Read the score

12-point completeness check - anything below 80/100 has on-page work to do.

  3. 3

    Compare social previews

OG and Twitter Card tags drive how your link looks when shared. Missing them = ugly previews.

  4. 4

    Inspect your structured data

JSON-LD blocks are a major signal for Google rich results AND AI assistant citations.

Why it matters

A small detail that compounds.

Metadata is the contract between your page and every system that consumes it: Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Slack link previews, X cards, LinkedIn unfurls. Half-finished metadata leaks ranking signal everywhere.

Most sites we audit are missing at least 4 of the 12 items in this score. The cumulative effect is a 10–20% loss in CTR and a meaningful drop in AI citations.

With Sight AI

Hit 12/12 on every article we write.

Sight AI generates a complete metadata stack for every article: title, description, canonical, OG image, Twitter card, Article schema, FAQ schema if applicable, and breadcrumb schema.

No edge cases, no manual templating. Every article ships ready to be ranked, shared, and cited.

  • 12/12 metadata score on every article by default
  • Auto-generated OG image with title and brand
  • Article + Author + FAQPage JSON-LD where applicable
  • Editable in the dashboard - override anything per-page
FAQ

Common questions.

Why is my JSON-LD invalid?

Most often: trailing commas, unquoted keys, or escaped HTML inside a string. Use Google's Rich Results Test to find the exact line.

Do I need both OG and Twitter Cards?

OG is read by most platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, even Google). Twitter Cards are mainly for X - but they fall back to OG if missing. Set both for full coverage.

What's an ideal title length?

30–60 characters. Below 30 you're leaving space on the table; above 60 you'll get truncated on most SERPs.

Should I add FAQ schema everywhere?

Only on pages that genuinely have FAQs. Spammy FAQ schema can get you a manual action. When real, it's great for rich results and AI citations.
